Hi everyone, I attended the capgemini campus placement drive in September 2015.

The entire recruitment process was for 2 days. On the first day, we had an online Aptitude test in college.

It consisted of three sections: Verbal ability, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude. In my opinion, verbal ability was very simple, Quant and logical reasoning questions were not so simple. I believe if one solves questions on indiabix.com and solved examples from R. S. Aggarwal and be thorough with the formulas one should be able to crack it. Please note that solve all the topics from indiabix.com. One cannot predict that questions will be from time, distance, speed or work or profit loss etc. So, in my advice, know the basic formulas and numericals of all the topics.

On the second day, we had 2 rounds i.e. Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

For GD, they give very basic topics. We just need to make sure that that we speak at-least.

3-4 valid points. Please take care of your body language and speak confidently. Do not take the topic to a different direction. Even though they give very basic topics to speak upon, if one doesn\'t have points to speak, try to conclude the GD. My topic was " Should crime related movies and shows be shown on television?". During my GD, they themselves gave chance to those people who did not speak at all. But, they may have considered this as a negative remark. So in short, Be calm, Be confident and don\'t be arrogant or impulsive during GD.

Now, the final round was Personal Interview (PI). This round is a combination of technical as well as HR round. Since, I am from EXTC branch, they did not ask me any core technical questions. Just know your project well and study your resume properly. Learn at-least the basics of everything that you have written in your resume. Don\'t write anything which you don\'t know. It\'s Okay if your resume is small but you should be well-versed with it. In your interview, if you don\'t know answer to any question say it clearly, don\'t try to bluff. For other guys i.e. people from COMPS and IT branch, they asked quite a few technical questions. Again here, Confidence can take you places. Read about mannerism, body language to have a greater impact on your panel.

I hope this can be of some help to everyone. Wish you all the very best and be confident and keep faith. Its okay if you get rejected, something better is waiting for you.
