Before few days Capgemini came to our college (HITK) for On Campus recruitment drive. The whole placement process was divided in 3 main sections:
1) Online Aptitude Test (By CoCubes).
2) Group Discussion.
3) Personal Interview (TR+HR).
Day 1:
Online Test was started at 11:15 am. There were total 75 questions (English, Reasoning, Quant). Total given time was 90 minutes. No negative marking was there.
English part :- 2 unseen passages, error correction of sentences etc.
Logical Reasoning:- 2 Flow charts, Missing value of a series etc.
Quant- Problem from profit & loss, distance, speed and time, ap etc.
For me English portion was little bit tough. Logical and Quant part was easy. But I think key point to clear this round is proper time management.
Almost 170 students appeared for this drive and among them 39 students got selected in first round including me.
Day2:
On 2nd day at first they presented a ppt about the Company Capgemini. After that they divided all 39 students into 4 Groups. GD topics were " How to deal with International Terrorism? ", " Is India a Soft Nation?" I was not able to perform very good on GD. But I cleared the GD. In each panel there were 2 members. Out of 39 students, 35 students cleared the GD round.
Then after few hours Interview process started.
There were four panels for taking PI. In my panel only 1 sir was there.
At first I wished my interviewer "Good Afternoon".
HR- Take your sit.
HR- How Is your day?
ME- Still now it is fine. As I cleared the GD round.
HR- Is not it hectic?
ME- No (with a smile).
HR- Tell me something about your family, projects, weak point, strong points.
ME- Told.
HR- Asked me about my hometown.
ME- Told.
HR- Asked about the last semester result.
ME- Told.
HR- Difference between DBMS and RDBMS/.
ME- Told and explained.
Then he asked me lots of technical questions like - "What is cloud computing?", Properties of OOPS, About Big Data, About Structured and Unstructured Data, Difference between C# and Java, About my projects etc.
HR- Write the algorithm of Fibonacci number.
ME- Wrote it and explained.
HR- Why Capgemini?
ME- Told.
HR- What is Sensor? What is GSM, CDMA etc?
ME- Not able to answer these questions properly.
HR- What is android?
ME- Told.
HR- Do you Want to ask any questions?
ME- NO.
HR- Thank you.
ME- Thanks.
After 1 hour Final list of selected students were displayed. They selected 29 students out of 35. Luckily I was one of them. Yes that is really a memorable moment of my life.
When your turn come everything will be good. All the best guys :). Please try to learn from your previous mistakes.
