Placement Papers - Apps Associates

Hello Readers,

We had an off campus drive on 16th September 2016 at Lendi College of Engineering and around 750 students from 8 colleges has attended. The process took place in three rounds. The eligibility is for CSE/IT with a minimum of 70% in the career.

ROUND:1 Written Test - It consists questions from Aptitude, Reasoning and Technical (Java and DBMS). The test lasts for 50 minutes which contains 45 questions (15 from each section) and there is no sectional time limit.

Among 750 students only 70 were cleared the ROUND:1 and they have asked us to come for an interview on the next day.

ROUND:2 TR1 - He has started by asking my personal details and later gone through my resume and asked some questions from it and later we had a small discussion on my projects. Then he asked about programming languages known to me and moved to DBMS.

- What is normalisation?
- Why do we need normalisation?
- Steps in normalisation?
- What is self-join?
- What is a primary key?
- What is a composite key?
- What is a foreign key?
- And some constraints on keys?

They mostly concentrate on DBMS and JAVA. (NOTE: Go through your resume thoroughly).

ROUND:3 TR2- Although it is a TR round he has asked a few HR questions like,

- Tell me about yourself?
- Why Apps Associates?
- What are your favourite subjects (DBMS, DS)?
- What is RDBMS?
- What are data Structures?
- Have you ever used DS in your projects?
- Asked me to explain one of my projects?
- Asked about my written test experience? and shown my marks.
- About my academics? and some other stuff from my resume.

At last results were announced after a week and got selected :)
