So, We arrived at college as it was on campus opportunity at Institute of engineering and Management, Kolkata.
Job Description:
• Position: System Software Engineer – Trainee
• Grade: E1
• Number of Positions: 15-20
o Option 1: ₹4.00 LPA for candidates who qualify the Basic Technical Test (including MCQs on Computer Fundamentals, IQ, and Basic Programming), as well as the technical and HR rounds.
o Option 2: ₹6.00 LPA for candidates who qualify both the Basic and Advanced Technical Tests, in addition to the technical and HR rounds.
• Job Location: Kolkata
• Talent Development Commitment Period: 3 Years
• Eligible Departments: B.E in Computer Science, EEE, ECE, IT, and MCA
• Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 60% in X and XII, and 60% in final degree with no standing arrears
• 3 years’ Service Contract / One year CTC for breach
Recruitment Process:
1. Technical Test - Basic: Candidates who pass will be offered a compensation of ₹4.00 LPA.
2. Technical Test - Advanced: Candidates who pass both the Basic and Advanced tests will be offered a compensation of ₹6.00 LPA.

Test Duration: 3 hours

Online Test Pattern
o C MCQ -> 20 Q -> 20 Marks -> 40 Minutes (-0.5 for wrong answer ) consisted question from pointers and arrays.
o Computer Fundamentals -> 20 Q -> 20 Marks -> 20 Minutes (-0.5 for wrong answer) consisted questions from OS(Mostly memory management)& CN
o IQ -> 10 Q -> 10 Marks -> 30 Minutes (-0.5 for wrong answer)
o C Programming(Basic)-> 2Q -> 20 Marks -> 30 Minutes (No negative marking)
Basically question was easy to medium (one was array traversal types and other was Roman integer Leetcode problem)
o C Programming(Advanced)-> 1Q -> 10 Marks -> 60 Minutes (No negative marking) Question was Leetcode Medium to Little Hard (it was conversion of binary or hexadecimal to binary/decimal

Then comes to the interview part (I was fortunately selected even i solved one easy question and some testcases of hard one)

In interview we were given three proble and we had to write code for it on a paper
-> Swap two number without third variable
-> Decimal to Binary(I don't really remember this question)
->Length of a linked list(Tortoise method)
Then After submitting this paper , we were called one by one
They asked to explain the question we were given , Afterwards some basic but deep question from Arrays, Pointers, Linked Lists, in detail.
Some were also asked OS , how bootloader works , how computer starts and loads OS.

After that there was a HR a round which consisted basic quetions

I wasn't selected ( I slid my chair towards interviewer being too freindly, Answers were correct although. Apart from that i didn't solved advanced question also could be a reason)
