Hi friends.
Asahi Glass conducted a pool campus drive for ME and AME students 2014 batch.
G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology, Plot No. 2, Knowledge Park III, Greater.
Noida, Distt. G. B. Nagar on 15. 01. 2014. The Stream that was Eligible for this drive was B-Tech (ME) and AME and eligibility Criteria were 70% and above throughout academics and No Back Paper i.e. 70% in 10th, 70% in 12th and 70% in B. Tech till date.
They were offering the Position of GET (Graduate Engineer Trainee) and GET will be on operational training for 1 year After evaluating their performance for 6 months, they will be allocated to various departments depending on the vacancy and their interest. The Job Location was in the Bawal (Haryana) Plant and the Package offered was 2.75 LPA with take takeaway of Rs. 21355 Per month. And Joining was on 22nd January this year only.
The selection Processes were:
1. Pre Placement Talk.
2. Group Discussion.
3. Technical Test.
4. IQ Test.
5. Language Test.
6. Psychometric Test.
7. Panel Interview.
Each process was an elimination round.
Around 100 students were there for the drive from different colleges in north India. First, they had a pre-placement talk. Followed by a GROUP DISCUSSION round in which they formed groups of 8 to 10 students. They had a 55-minute GD in which all topics given are available in the GD section of Indiabix.com website. Eg- FDI, How to deal with oil price hikes etc.
After this, only around 20 students were selected. Then they had a technical test. Having 20 questions (no numerical) to be done in 30 minutes. Again these questions are easily available in the MCQ section of this website.
After this around 10 students left. Then they had an IQ test which had questions like choosing the odd one out etc. There are 60 questions to be done in 30 minutes. The cutoff for this round was around 48.
After this only 5-6 students were selected. Then they had a Language test. Typical synonyms and antonyms-type questions. After this round 4 students left. Then they had a psychometric test. Only 3 students were selected.
At last, they had a panel interview (Technical+HR) which was almost a technical interview. After the interview round, out of 3 students, only 1 student was selected through this pool campus drive and was offered a GET post in Asahi India.
