Hello friends,
As everyone is here to know the Adani Wilmar Ltd. Campus recruitment procedure I will be sharing with you my campus placement experience. I hope that might be helpful. !
Adani Wilmar recruitment procedure consists of 2 stages. 1st the objective test and 2nd the Interview.
1st Objective test:- There are 2 sections in the objective test aptitude and technical. In the case of aptitude, there will be 75 questions which has to be done in 30 minutes so you can see that. About 24 seconds per question so just know that the questions will be very easy. You just have to do it fast. Don't leave any questions as there is no negative marking. Just try to answer every question fast. Don't waste time if you are stuck on a question. Just leave and go on next. Coming to the Technical. I think there will be 30 questions which have to be solved in 35 minutes. I don't exactly remember but it's something like that. So the questions will be generally related to your departments. Basic laws, theoretical, and principles. The marks from technical might not be the basis of your selection in writing. But it doesn't mean that you don't pay attention to the interviewer will be having your results of the written test when you are there for an interview. So don't forget it. He can ask about it. The main focus will be on aptitude and attitude. So be prepared accordingly. !
The results will soon be out after the test within 15-30 mins. The selected student names will be announced. For the next round. During my session 20 were selected for round 2 which included 15 from mechanical and 5 from chemical. The interviews were organized according to the sequence of names that were announced during the results after the test. So in my case, I was the 2nd to be interviewed. Talking about my interview. There were 3 People on the panel. 1 Technical, and 2 HR, who was from the Bundi Plant of Adani Wilmar. When I entered after the exit of the first guy. I was asked to give a basic intro about myself. About my family. What do they do? Etc. Then they asked me about my training. As I did it from North Western Railways Jaipur. They asked me related questions. Gaps between the tracks of different gauge trains. Prepare well for your industrial training. As you are giving an interview for an industry. They might expect some good answers from you about your training leanings. Which is really very important. The same goes for the Project you have. Prepare well about it. If it's relatable anyhow. They will ask questions about that. ! so after the questions I had about my training. They asked me what was my favourite subject. I was really confused about what to say. As I had that of saying additive manufacturing. But I ended up saying Thermodynamics. So they asked me laws, different cycles, about boilers, compressors, etc. Questions were general and industry-related. Please prepare your one favourite subject. And if it's related to industry. That would really help. ! prepare it well. Then they asked about the hardness in water. It's unit etc. And finally, they asked. Why do you think you want to join Adani? Really tough and game-changing question. So have a good answer for that. Then they asked ok thanks and also asked whether I had any questions for them. I said no sir. Thank you and left. !
After 18 remaining students were interviewed. ! Then I thought that the interview was over and the result would be declared so I went to the next class. But we got a call for a 3rd round. 8 students were selected out of 20 for the third round. We were called one by one once again. As here I was the first to get interviewed. They asked me we have just a single simple question for you. Answer it in the best way you can. They asked why so you think we should hire you in Adani. Give good reasons. And this one was a breaker. So be prepared for the question. In accordance with industrial thinking in mind. Don't tell common answers from YouTube. Just be frank be calm and composed. And show that. The company needs you that's it. 8 were interviewed. And out of which 6 were finally selected (3 on the same day and 3 a few days later).
So friend's key for selection is. Do the questions really fast during the objective test. Questions will be very simple. Don't worry about it. Secondly, prepare well for your training and projects. And make a nice and simple resume. And make sure what you are writing there. This can be asked in the interview. So don't add irrelevant things. And the most important thing don't bluff. The panel sitting over there knows a lot more than you. So whenever you don't know any answer. Just say sorry sir. I don't know. Don't manipulate him. Just be honest. ! (for mechanical. Read some topics related to industries from that made easy handbook. Thermo, fluid, refrigeration, heat exchangers etc. And for other streams. Such as chemicals. Mostly subjects are similar to mechanical. Prepare about the basics such as motors transformers, panels, MCCs, and things related to Power supply, load and other industrial aspects study the things that are needed in an industry related to your branch).
So best of luck to everyone who will be sitting for recruitment. Do well. Be calm and composed. Hope this will advise. With a lot of grammatical and punctuation mistakes might prove helpful. Hope for the Best.
Thank you.
