Acurus Solutions had their campus placement program at SASTRA Univerisity on 21st December 2016 for the people of B.Tech Computer Science. There was a pre-placement talk for about 20 Minutes followed by the placement process.
First Round- Aptitude Written Test:
There was totally 50 questions and the time limit was 45 Minutes. Questions covered were mostly based on mathematical reasoning, Logical reasoning, Written English. 20 Percent of the total participants were shortlisted for the next round.
Second Round- Group Discussion:
Here the shortlisted candidates are formed into groups of 6 each. Each individual group members will be given a topic, 3 must speak in support of the given topic and 3 must speak against the given topic. Here some were shortlisted.
Third Round- Extempore:
This round is something unusual in a campus interview process. The candidates were asked to pick out two chits of paper. You are brought to select either of the two and you'll find a topic there. You must speak about the topic for about 5 minutes without any interruption. Topics will be mostly general like food habits, Indian culture etc. Some were shortlisted in this round.
Fourth Round- Technical Interview:
This is a face to face discussion with the officials of Acurus solutions. Since this is a technical interview, people of CSE would find is quite easy. You would be discussing on your Areas of Interest, DBMS, Programming Skills, Networking etc. This interview happened for me for about 1 and a half hours.
Fifth Round- HR Interview:
This is also a Face to face interview with the HR of Acurus Solutions. Shortlisting will be based on the cumulative score of both Technical and HR interview.
Sixth and Final Round:
This is the last level of discussion with the CTO of Acurus Solutions. This is actually a telephonic interview and this will happen for about 25 minutes. You'll be discussing on your final year projects. Once after all these rounds are over, names of students offered are announced. CTC will be around 4.5 LPA. Joining location can be either Chennai / Hyderabad.
All the best.
