ACT TV Interview Experience - Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology

The campus drive for ACT TV was held on 30 Oct 2015 in JIET, Jodhpur. In written exam, there were set of random questions from basic aptitude (mainly time-work, mixtures and allegations), electronics, computer fundamentals and Networking concepts.
It wasn't so difficult but the only constraint was the time. Total of 40 questions were to be solved within 30 minutes. And yeah there was no negative marking and it was an offline test. For networking and computer fundamentals questions you can refer www.indiabix.com.
Out of 400-500 students who appeared, 58 students managed to clear the first round which was followed by a GD.
GD was based on a case study and was pretty simple which was cleared by 14 students and I was one among them. The only tip for GD is: Take the initiative to start the GD and do not shout, let others also speak.
After GD we had HR and Technical interviews. In HR interview they mainly asked about family background, birthplace, B-Tech, ECE, and Why JIET College!
After HR interview we had technical interviews wherein I was asked communication-related questions like difference between Analog and digital communications, TDMA, CDMA etc., about my training, clock frequency, difference between switch and router, TCP/IP etc. They repeatedly asked which one will you choose ACT TV or Cisco? and Why.
Out of 14 students who qualified for interview round only 2 were selected (package 8LPA).
I couldn't clear the last and Final round of the process but yes it was a wholesome learning experience.
