First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to IndiaBix and to those who have shared their interview experience which has helped me a lot regarding how to face interviews and clear a written exam.
I am from Industrial Engineering Branch(B.Tech) and I know most of you guys are unaware of this branch but anyways, moving ahead, so there were 3 rounds during Accenture placement drive:
Round 1.Written Test- This round is quite easy and you need to prepare well for this 1 week prior to the date of written test. It consists of 3 sections:
a. Quantitative Aptitude- 25 questions- 25 minutes (Minimum no:of questions to be attempted- 15).
b. Verbal- 25 questions- 25 minutes (Minimum no:of questions to be attempted-15).
c. Logical Reasoning-24 questions-35 minutes (Minimum no:of questions to be attempted-15).
Marking Scheme- No Negative Marking but cut off is a bit high.
Round 2- TR/HR- Both were conducted at the same time consisting of 2 Panels (one for TR & one for HR).
5 Students were interviewed at the same time and the questions asked is as follows:
a. Introduce Yourself.
b. About your Project.
c. Why Accenture?
d. Some questions were from PPT ( Pre-Placement Talk).
e. Why should we hire you?
f. Are you comfortable with Night shifts or any location other than the preferred one?
You better say YES to the last question i.e (f). It will give a positive impact on the interviewer and also increase the chance of clearing the interview.
In my University,
No:of Students appeared for the Written test: 530
No:of Students who cleared the written test: 293
No:of Students who cleared TR/HR Interview: 230
So, 230 Students were recruited for Accenture and I was among one of them.
Remember, if you clear the Written test then you are almost close to the Finish line as you can see that most of the Students gets Eliminated in the Written Test i.e Round 1.
So, All the Best guys for your placements and be Confident. Hope my Interview experience might help you a little. :)
