Hi this is Ramya and I\'m going to share my Accenture placement experience with you.

On september 22 we had to give the screening test. The test had 3 sections.

Logical-coding, decoding, analytical puzzles, alphabet and number sequence, directions, blood relations.

Quant-ratio proportion, probability, permutations and combinations, speed and distance, all the typical quantitative aptitude topics.

English- synonyms, antonyms, sentence corrections, paragraphs.

Too many people were shortlisted. 461/540.

We had to attend just one round of interview but it was a group interview.

There were two ladies in our panel. 5 candidates were called at once. One by one we were asked questions first some Hr questions and then some technical questions.

The questions were very simple like about the company, net revenue, location of headquarters, CEO, our mini project, any key role played in mini project, any innovative ideas you came up with, basic questions on C and JAVA like what are the three OOP principles, what is encapsulation, what is inheritance. Etc.

In particular I remember I was asked if reservation for women was necessary? I put forward my opinion. She tried to oppose my idea but I gave a logical explanation behind my opinion and she was convinced.

Only important thing to keep in mind during this group interview is don\'t try to answer questions asked to others. Try resist yourself from doing so if you know the answer. Just be spontaneous in responding to the questions. Communication skills play a vital role. They were just testing how good we were at communicating our thoughts and our confidence levels. Never forget to maintain a smile throughout the interview. This really counts. :).

That was all. I was among the 295 candidates who cleared the interview and got into Accenture. All the best. :).
