Accenture Interview Experience - Kolkata, September, 2014

Hello Friends,
Recently I have attended Accenture Recruitment Drive through AMCAT for the post of Associate Software Engineer, which was held in Kolkata at Techno India Main Campus. It was one of the most organized recruitment drive I ever seen. Reporting Time was 8.00 AM & Gates were open at 8.30 AM. There were around 500 + students who have come for this drive. As we are already assessed by AMCAT, thus according to our AMCAT Score we were called.
So there were no Screening Test at the beginning, there were only two Rounds.
1) Technical & 2) HR.
Technical Round:
It was really smooth, and the interviewer was very pleasant. It was 1 on 1 process.
Firstly he told me to impress him and I did by telling all the facts about Accenture from A to Z. He was quite amazed. (My advise Learn A - Z about Accenture it comes handy).
Then he asked me about my Project, basically I indulged him with my project I gave too much info about my project & also I told him that I have deployed my Project on Internet, it seemed like he was quite impressed by that & also he checked my own Personal Website in his tab. And he said wow. Further I didn\'t get any Technical questions. (So my Advice learn A- Z about your Project It is very important for Technical Round).
After that he asked me some general questions, he was just checking my English Fluency like How many GFs I have, What is the purpose of the Tattoo in my hand it was just to impress girls and Many more.
But sometimes he was asking me Questions in Bengali, So friends its a kind of a trap so beware, but still I was keeping my pace with English only. Finally He himself announced the result in front of me that I was selected basically AMCAT delegates announce the result but I was the exception.
2) Then HR it was easy and its kind of a formality so very few were rejected, maximum people were getting rejected in technical round.
1st questions Is India Shinning ?
2nd questions tell me something about Accenture ?
3rd question tell me why you want to join Accenture ?
4th about Relocation and Night Shift (Always say Yes).
5th whether there are any standing backlog.
Finally it ends and I was selected it was quite an experience for me.
So friends nothing to worry about just give your best shot and please don\'t fake it try to be Honest and then everything gonna be right.
