ACCENTURE Interview Experience - Greater noida, 24th August 2014

Hi, I attended accenture off campus drive which was held in galgotiya college in greater noida, the drive was only for those guys who have been placed in tier 1 organization (TCS, WIPRO etc. ) or for those who have done there btech from IIT/NIT or Equivalent colleges (A or B grade colleges).

We were told to report at the venue by 8'o clock in the morning, when we reached the venue amcat team were already present there to welcome us.

Based on the AMCAT registration no. Which was given on my hall ticket we were allotted waiting hall in which we had to follow some instructions which was given by amcat team.

They gave us a 6 page ACCENTURE form which was supposed to be filled in the next 20 minutes (bit. Easy one just academics and personal info. ) , moreover, they told us two attach our documents in serial form (xerox of all marksheets, degree, offer letter etc).

And for those who haven't brought their xerox of individual documents were told to bring the same asap then only you would be eligible to take part in drive, so guys make sure you carry at least 2 xerox copy of each document before participation in any drive (as it was mentioned in hall ticket but some guys were dumb).

After the documentations process was done they took our application form and called our name to attend further process (tech, hr. ) , it was like first come first serve data structure, those who finished up early with documentation part were called in the beginning.

From here real battle was started. !

There were 2 rounds :

1) Technical round.
2) Hr round.

As we were waiting in the waiting hall and in random fashion our name were called for technical round, after 30 mins in so called humid place my name was called, I was frustrated with that hotness (may be because of delhi gals too) my shirt was smelling bad as I kept deo in my bag so I used it before I went in TECH room (sometimes because of sweating/smell interviewer mind gets changed so keep deo with you every time when you attend any OFF campus drive).

TECH sir: Hello emran, how was your you seems like you had taken bathe just before you entered in this room.

Me: I explained in polite way.

TECH sir: So vaibhav what you have done in your B-Tech life.

Me: Told.

TECH sir: Hmmm. Great thing you have done, ok ! tell me when C language (as I mentioned C language in my area of interest) was developed and who were the developers and at which place it was developed.

Me: Told.

TECH sir: Explain your projects in detail.

Me: Told.

TECH sir: How can you check system status of each computer by which your system is connected (as I mentioned networking also).

Me: Told (ping ip address in cmd prompt).

TECH sir: What is router and which layer in osi model responsible for routing.

Me: Told (networking layer and explained).

TECH sir: Ok emraan, You have been shortlisted for Hr round. !

Me : Thank you sir !

HR ROUND was like icing on cake.

1) Introduce yourself.

2) Why not other company (as I mentioned I have an offer letter of TCS) ,

3) How you spent your last day.

4) Do you have any question to ask.

I was told to wait in the waiting area for result, after 30 mins with GOD GRACE my name was called # placed in ACCENTURE !

Hope I have given you a glimpse of drive, Best of luck Guys !
