Accenture Interview Experience - Bangalore, November 17, 2013
I want to share my interview experience at the Accenture off campus drive organised by elitmus. Firstly, the criteria for the drive was above 60% in B.E or MCA, and I guess a pretty good score in the ph text(above 70 percentile).
It was very well organised and I hold Elitmus in very high regard. They were very nice to all of us and the instructions were clear and unambiguous. It was timely and there was no time waste which is quite often the case at most off campus drives. The drive was scheduled to start at 8 am,and it started exactly at 8 am.
Coming to the selection process,it consisted of two rounds: Tech interview and hr interview.
First, it was the tech interview. The interviewer was nice and very pleasant. To start of he asked me questions about myself, like,Tell me about yourself, what are your parents doing, why accenture, and he asked me about my courses and certifications and my B.E project.
The technical questions were, what's the difference between C and C++,difference between string and stringbuilder, what's the type of inheritance that is not supported by java, how can it be achieved, what is primary key and foreign key, what's the query to view the structure of a table, difference between primary key and foreign key. The questions I have listed out have made the paragraph a very compound statement.hehe.
The interview didn't last for more than ten minutes. At the end of the interview, I thanked him for the experience, 5 minutes later the results were announced and I was selected.
The HR round was normal The questions asked were about Accenture, and why I had chosen Accenture, he asked me about the core values of Accenture, the questions asked were pretty much the standard questions asked in most hr rounds. You guys could go through some of the frequently asked hr questions on indiabix itself and that should do.
I also suggest you guys to brush up on C, C++ and DBMS.
I hope this helps you guys. Remember, to always be confident and say everything with a smile. Keep a positive attitude. That's one of the the most important things that the interviewers are looking for.
Best of luck, guys! Do well!
I also take this opportunity to thank Accenture and the whole Elitmus team who were fantastic.
