Each of the following questions consists of five figures marked A, B, C, D and E called the Problem Figures followed by five other figures marked 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 called the Answer Figures. The new image always comes from the upper side, so the correct answer is C, not D, which has S on the upper side, which is already in problem 2.

Another solution,

Write the upper-right symbols in white paper.
Put your hand right to the top of paper. (Hold).
Put your left hand to the bottom of paper. (Hold).
Then flip the paper using your left hand to the top of right hand.

I think they are confuse in "inverts vertically".

Click "Start" then open your Paint application.
Draw the image (S), then ctrl+R "Flip Vertical"
Thats the vertical flip.

Do this for figure B, C, D, E. Hope it helps... ;)
