1. On seeing question x and figures you have to notice that only 3 triangles are given, so anyhow 3 triangles can only be made from the option figures.
2. Now see fig 2 from the middle one draw 2 lines making a triangle that is ____/ from this middle point to the other side.
3. You will notice that only 3 triangles can only form from this.
4. If you try from other figures there you can also get a 4-sided figure.

The Answer is B.
Take the middle triangle and just place it on the second diagram from the right side.
Then the half remaining part can be easily formed by combining the remaining 2 triangles.

Yes, it's correct put ist and 3 together, with a larger triangle as a base and then the middle at the top, invert the figure you will get the result.
