What about bio diesel? It is not manufactured from either of the derivatives of the crude oil.

Since All liquid fuels like Gasoline (Petrol) , Diesel, etc. Are extracted from crude oil.

Crude oil is not a pure oil after refining we get petrol, diesel, kerosine, grease etc.

In nature crude oil is in impure form after refining it we get pure oil such as diesel.

It's not necessary as ethanol, bio-diesel are not derived from crude oil.

By different level of processing we can find different commercial fuels.
