The efficiency of stiring is less than carnot cycle but the regenrative of stiring have equal efficincy as carnotcycle.

Carnot cycle is an ideal cycle. The efficiency is maximum in this cycle. Stirling cycle is have less efficiency.

In of regenerative arrangement, the efficiency of Stirling is equal to Carnot otherwise it less than Carnot.
