Stirling cycle less efficient than carnot cycle but if regenerative reversible stirling cycle is used then the efficiency is equal to carnot cycle efficiency.

Dear @Pawan and @Paresh, Stirling Cycle efficiency is equal to Carnot Cycle efficiency when both are working with same temperature limit.

Efficiency of carnot cycle is maximum than any other cycle because it is ideal gas cycle! irrespective of that all cycles are considered.

In a special case efficiency of both the cycle is equal otherwise carnot cycle is more efficient. Therefore option A should be correct.

Stirling cycle has less efficiency than Carnot cycle. But regenerative Stirling cycle has the same efficiency as Carnot cycle.

Carnot cycle is maximum efficient cycle compared to all the cycle since the conditions are ideal and there will be no losses.

If regenarator is used then the efficiency of stirling cycle is equal to carnot cycle otherwise the efficiency is less.
