The energy stored in a body, when strained within elastic limit is known as strain energy.

In simple defenition,

Resilience=stain energy/volume. It's unit is Joule per cubic meter.
Proof Resilience=maximum strain energy stored by body without undergoing permanent deformation.
Modulus of resilience= proof Resilience/unit volume.

Total strain energy or absorbed energy stored in a body is Resiience.

@Manish.

That is modulus of resilience.

The correct answer is = ( d ) option, because,
Resilience = is amount of strain energy store in material per unit volume.

According to me, Option A is correct.

Strain energy stored in the body due to external loading is resilence.

I think answer A is correct answer because resilience is the other name of total strain energy ie stain energy stored in a body within elastic limit.
