Please tell anyone how measure the strain energy in a spring?

Why not option D?

Proof resilience is related to toughness. It is predicted by area of whole stress strain curve.

With in the elastic limit of the substance the strain energy should sustain if it will cross the limit then the energy should not be a strain energy.

How to differ strain energy and resilience?

And resilience up to the elastic limit is known as proof resilience.

If force applied on a body within elastic limit, body change its shape, strain also produced in a body at that time. When remove the force applied on a body, then body gets its original shape. Here required energy to get original shape is called strain energy.

Strain Energy of the member is defined as the internal work done in deforming the body by the action of externally applied forces. This energy in elastic bodies is known as elastic strain energy.

Strain energy stored up to proportionality limit is called Proof resilience, Strain energy stored up to elastic limit is called resilience and Strain energy stored up to fracture point is called toughness of the material.

Stress is directly proportional to strain under elastic limit.

Toughness - the area covered in stress-strain curve.
