1. Strain energy is the ability of a body to absorb energy, so when we are saying just strain energy then we are referring to the total energy the body can store upto fracture.

2. Resilience is the ability of a body store energy when it is deformed elastically only.

So I think both the answers are given wrong related to the strain energy concept.

Strain energy-it is the ability of a material to absorb energy when it is strained.
Resilience-ability of a material to absorb energy in the elastic region when it is strained.
Proof resilience-maximum energy absorbing capacity of a material in the elastic region is called proof resilience
Modulus of resilence-proof resilience per unit volume is called modules of resilience.
