Dear friends piezometer is used to measure moderate pressure and manometer is used to measure high pressure or pressure in pipes and channels.

Yes. Piezometer is used for low and moderate pressures, manometer for high pressure and barometer for atmospheric pressure (barometric pressure).

I think manometer is used to measure the low pressure and measure of high pressure the pressure gauge.

In manometers there are different types of classification:

1. Simple Manometers:

A) Piezometer - Measures Low or moderate pressure.

B) U-Tube - Measures pressure at a point.

C) Single column Manometer - Measures pressure at a point (accurate).

2. Differential Manometers:

Measure pressure differences between a two point.

A piezometer is not suitable for low or high pressure. It is not suitable for gas pressure.

It is an instrument for measuring the pressure of a liquid.

High-pressure confusion is present.

As I know manometer is used to measure moderate pressure.

Manometer can use for for low pressure but mostly it's used for high pressure measurement and don't compare it with phyzometer that's valid for only liquid not for gas.
