Is this designed to be a trick question? Someone who decided the.

At Rye is not a bread type, has not done a thorough study and lacks knowledge of bread types. Rye is a bread type made from the Rye grain. It is common bread type in USA and Canada, which originated in Europe. Which means 'Loaf' should be the correct answer.

And to know, that these tests are provided to employers for testing potential employees for much needed jobs. This makes the majority of applicants walking away thinking they have no reasoning skills. The designers of these tests lack even more reasoning skills. This is very low.

Why not 'D' ? A, B, C are related with rye (a wheat-like cereal plant, not wheat) but option D is the sliced bread (not necessarily made of rye).

A, B & C are types of breads.

D is a form or shape of bread.

In America, rye is one of the more common types of bread available, more so than sourdough or pumpernickel. All three of these are available options for the varieties of bread available.

A loaf is not a type of bread, it is simply the most common form that it is available in. Loaf would need to be grouped with bun and roll.

How is Loaf a type of bread? Bread can come in the form of a Loaf but that does not mean Loaf is a type of bread. Meat Loaf is not a bread!

Also, Rye IS a type of bread! Since I was very young, anytime I ordered breakfast at a restaurant and it came with toast, they would ask if you wanted white, wheat, or rye bread.

Rye is definitely a type of bread, while a loaf is how the bread is shaped.
