I think the answer should be C because it is not every body that serve the country is soldier. Based on the statement here that soldiers serve their country means that some men who are soldiers serve their country.

I think answer would be (B). Because both man and woman may be a soldier. And any person serving its country is a soldier.

B is not correct because serving country refers to scientists/students/researches in field of technology or humanity actions inside country like adopting/saving children like Mother Teresa.
C is correct because soldiers refers to man/woman in perfect meaning.

Why not B ? Soldiers serve their country so in a way it is saying that those who serve their country are soldiers. Kindly someone tell whether it is correct or not and here the statement does not bother about whether other people are serving their country or not so why should we take that into consideration. Please explain!

Yes option c is correct b cause other 3 are not belong to statement but the men who serve country are called soldiers.
