See the question in two halves in first it is given 80 -10 = 70.
70 -10 = 60.
In the second half it is given 10 + 5 = 15.
Now the answer is given in the second halves
So, the answer will be 15+5= 20.

80-10=70,
10-70=60,
70-15=55,
15-60=45.
Double differences.
70-60=10,
60-55=5,
55-45=10.
So next no is 5.
45 - 5 = 40.
