Take the 2nd, 4th and 6th numbers. Odd position=even position*2. For this sum it ll work as simple as that.

340-332 = 8.
340-170 = 170.
170+8 = 178.
178-89 = 89.
178-8 = 170.
170-89 = 81.
81+8 = 89.

Yes, how its possible. I think ans is wrong. The correct answer is 85. 170/2=85 then add 4.

Just add all the numbers. The answer will be alternate 7 and 8.
