53->5+3 = 8.
40->4+0 = 4.
27->2+7 = 9.
8-4 = 4,4+5 = 9, 9-4 = 5. Therefore Ans is 14-> 1 = 4 = 5.
40->4+0 = 4.
27->2+7 = 9.
8-4 = 4,4+5 = 9, 9-4 = 5. Therefore Ans is 14-> 1 = 4 = 5.

Answer is 0.5 second one 0.5*3 = 1.5.
1.5*3-0.1 = 4.4.
4.4*3+0.2 = 13.5.
14.5*3-0.3 = Answer.
1.5*3-0.1 = 4.4.

@Harry.
The simple method use.
First see the difference b/w 53-40, than 40-27.
So you can 27-13 = 14.

53 - 40 = 13.
40 - 27 = 13.
27 - 14 = 13 So ans is 14.
40 - 27 = 13.
27 - 14 = 13 So ans is 14.
