There is another pattern that can also be followed here;
5 + 3 = 8.
5 - 3 = 8.
4 + 0 = 4.
4 + 0 = 4.
2 + 7 = 9.
2 + 7 = 9.
So, the next number according to this pattern would be 5.
So, to get 5, we can choose 14, which gives 1 + 4 = 5.
