Can we do it like this,
3-4 = -1
4-7= -3
7-8 = -1
8-11 = -3
11-12 = -1
12-15 = -3

The formula is +1 then +3 :

3+1=4.
4+3=7.

7+1=8.
8+3=11.

11+1=12.
Since 12+3=15.

See odd numbers and add all odd numbers by 4 like.

3+4=7.

In 3 7 & 11 difference between them is 4 on the other hand difference between 4 8 &12 is also 4. So according to this logic the answer is 16.

After 3, 4 this alternative 2 nos. are missing i.e(5 & 6).
After 7, 8 this alternative 2 nos. are missing i.e(9 & 10).
After 11, 12 this alternative 2 nos. should miss i.e(13 & 14).

So D ans is 15.

It is a series of odd numbers.

Were the even place numbers are subtracted by 1.

3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15
(5-1) (9-1) (13-1)
3, 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, 15
