In my opinion, the cashless economy is good. But only for urban areas not for rural areas because maximum person doesn't aware from these kind of things like online payment, cards net banking etc. As we know every coin has two sides similarly cashless economy is very efficient to Stop trees cutting and making paper free world. It also benefits to reduce our hard work to stand in a queue for a money payment or withdraw anything.

In my opinion, cashless economy is good for those people who have basic idea of e-banking and the improvement of technology. Without a proper knowledge of online transactions it is better not to share our card details to unknown person because they may misuse them for their own benefits.
Adding two more points 1) it reduces the paper usage for printing cash 2) it reduces our time and effort to going bank for transactions.

Cashless economy means we do our transaction by cards and many digital apps like Paytm phone pe and others. By this, we do our transaction safely. It also saves our time because in one click we do our transection. But this is not useful for illiterate people. Many parts of India is not access to internet so that it is a problem for those people who live in these areas. But it is very beneficial for progress in the country.

I want to say that India is a developing country. There every type of people live. Some of them who better know how to use a smartphone and how to secure to your account. But most of the people who live in rural areas and they don't know how to use a smartphone and how to secure your account. Because they have no idea about hacking. They have less access to the Internet. So, I have partially support to a cashless economy.

Making India a cashless economy is a good initiative. It'll benefit the people in many ways. But at the same time, we cannot ignore the fact that it has some demerits too. For instances, the area where there is lack of resources for this process, it is impossible to function this system properly. Moreover, a great number of people in India are still illiterate. For them, it will be difficult in the transaction of money.

India is a developing country. If we want to make it a developed one we should have these kind of initiatives and implemented in a way that it won't affect its citizens.
A 60 year old man has no idea how to pay in a electronic way while a 10 year kid knows how to pay through card and e-payments.
Cashless economy can be implemented only in countries which have developed a long time ago while in India this takes time.

The cashless economy has made the life of students, housewives, old age people with cell phone very easy. After demonetization by the government, a spike in merchants using online transaction platform has begun.
Now private Indian companies like PayTm, Mobiquik have flurished. This all factors boost the economy of India further simultaneously making payment easier for everyone without standing in queues for hours.

I feel that the cashless economy need to be implemented in India. As people cannot Carry much amount with them, where ever they go. By this online transaction are made easy, online exams are conducted, reduction in usage of paper, as only 50% of people make use of it, by the year 2020 it can be made compulsory. The demerits in it is that there are still illiterate people in India, who cannot transaction the money.
