Aadhaar card data is not secure enough. Aadhaar card data can be secure surely if we concentrate it with the #block_chain technology.

Hello everyone,

Aadhaar database can be hacked easily if a smart hacker wants, but will he get any benefit from this or not? Suppose he get the details from your Aadhaar then what will he do ?, he can only contact you just to get some extra confidential detail which you won't share. The procedure of OTP (one-time password) , secures many networks which creates a barrier for hackers to hack anyone account because at last, they want OTP.

Looking to the bitter side is that they can get your fingerprint, which can't be taken lightly. According to me, the fingerprint should not be an integral part of Aadhaar database of an individual.

One important thing, whenever we go for Xerox and scan, we forgot to delete our files from owner's PC, this shows our lack of awareness if that owner wants to create some issue in your life he can create.

So, I want to say that please be aware at that point of time.

At last, it solely depends upon the individual how smart he is to secure his database by not sharing any of his Aadhaar details to fraud calls and most importantly the OTP.

Thank You!

Hi,

Every coin has two sides like that Aadhaar has positives and negatives.

Positive side might be linking to bank account linking for all such activities but if their database would be hacked all data might be easily stolen by hackers anything and everything might be stolen (data) so security measures must be taken for securing enough and Aadhaar has also a good thing if anyone lost or someone is missing we can use the data and find the person easily easy identification.

Hello everyone.

First of all, Thanks for giving an opportunity to share my point of view so today's topic is related to "security of Aadhar card ". Is it secure or not?

As far as we know UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is responsible for issuing aadhar cards in India. Recently RTI (Right To Information) which is fundamental right under Article 19 (1) of constitution claim that biometric database is being accessed by foreign firms but UIDAI refuted all allegations related to this and said that Aadhar biometric information is protected by best available security and data is stored in its secured centre no one even employees can access that information. There are also some firewall and software to ensure no incident happens.

Whatever it is, let's discuss some problem we might face in daily life.

1. TRAI (Telecom Regulatory authority of India) chairman RS Sharma challengers hackers to hack aadhar number publicly on Twitter. Within one hour hackers put bank account details, Pan card number, mobile number. So we can see it is safe and secured it's his fault who gave his aadhar number. But one I want to drag your attention that supposes hackers find your details but they can't do any harm until or unless you give OTP (One Time Password) because for any transaction they need OTP and they can't access your phone without your knowledge this could be possible if you are dumbass. Nowadays there is no such technology invented that will help you to find OTP without concerned people's knowledge. So be aware and be conscious everything will be fine.

Thanks.

Hello everyone.

As far as, Aadhar card is concerned, it's a unique identification of Indian citizen. Aadhar card database is a huge collection of personal records. By using highly authenticated and secure technology it is still trying to make the database of Aadhar more secure and safe.

But due to more usage at a number of places and also due to the alarming rise in hacking activities it is not totally secure.

As it is highly confidential, proper encryption schemes should be used to make it secure.

I think that the Aadhar number is good scheme started by the government for the unique identification of a person. If we think that it is the generation of technology and nothing Is secure because of hackers then could you please tell me what is secure in this world? Nothing. Today everything is running with the technology. Are we think when shopping online and giving the credit card details. Is it secure? No. We all know about that but we do. Is storing the information in the registers is secure? No. So nothing is secure. And if this scheme was made by the government, then they also think about the security of this. If hackers can hack the information then hackers also can protect the information. Today if we need any govt or other services then we just need an Aadhar card. So, I think it is good as well as a secure scheme by the government. Thanks.

UIDI Number of Adhar card means a unique identification issue number given by the central government and according to its aim that every person gets equal and a unique number by which he can allocate to an Indian.

But some of the day's technology is to differ which causes much-unsecured activity which effects this will lead to personal damage to their personal detail's.

According to the source, there are about 1lakh cases were registered effects to cause the hacking and such activities which user don't want.

My point of view Aadhar database is now not a secured enough we need to do more things related to it's privacy.

I think Aadhaar is very important for all person for id proof but is not 100% secure site because of some days.

UIDAI SITE will be hacked and all data will leak so in my point of view it should not be linked with a banck account only it can be used for id proof.

First of all, I thank India bix for giving this opportunity to share my views regarding this aspect, well according to my point of view adhar card is a unique identification of every citizen in India, it tells all prominent aspects of person, it is linked with bank accounts, when we talk about security aspects it is not 100%secure because our adhar card is linked with various banks, it may reach to hands of hackers, one example I just want to say which was happend in my real life, I think it was on the month of June 2018 a person called me and told all the details of my adhar card, I was really panic at tht tym, and he demanded 5 lakh of money in case if I don't pay him, he said I will hack your money in your bank account, I went to police station and informed all this, so from then when ever there is a need for me to give adhar details, I used to think twice, so one thing I want to suggest to you all think twice before giving your adhar details to anyone.

Well, Aadhar database!

How much efforts and tricks we do hackers will have their own way. So, if we are really scared of securities we might use our shopping apps, fooding apps, & other unnecessary apps. We do use those because we know how to not fall for fake sites. We'll aadhar database is much useful for anyone who needs it. Instead of showing all our identities altogether only thing Aadhar anywhere in India. Isn't it cool? The database is secured surely if it takes secular biometrics which never had a chance of replacing.
