Hello, first of all,

I want to say that oil is essential to everyone. Use of oil is kept on increasing. Oil is a renewable energy. As a citizen of our country, we have to save the oil. Oil is needed for our vehicles. Even public transport needs oil. Oil like petrol, diesel etc is very essential. Generators run because of oils. We can avoid using two wheelers or four wheelers, inverter consumes huge oil. If it continues, the demand of oil will be very high and there will be no oil in future. We need to save it. Oil is too very dangerous when 1 spark of fire touches the oil, it will burst. Many accidents occurred because of this and many too lost their lives. So I request everyone to be very careful while using and use it limitedly.

Hi friends, nowadays world population is increasing day by day and also vehicles. The petrol and diesel utility also increases. Everyone desire to have super-bike and car. We know oil is non - a renewable source of energy and the petrol-diesel hardly available for 15-20 years. So we all should to use less diesel and petrol, for instance, for short distance we should go by bicycle or go by walk and for long distance, we use public transport. It's not our government duty, its also our responsibility. For the hence-forth life. We have to discover alternative resource. Just like we know Rupees is decreasing day by day as compared to the dollar that causes inflation for our country.

Hey friends,

I agree with you all, and summarize the discussion.

Firstly, we have to conserve by effective use of vehicles.

Secondly, We should go for renewal sources.

Thirdly, there are still many oil fields, the government should use more and more high technology to recover it.

Thank you all.

Our government has to take many decisions in to deal with high oil prices.

They have to bane diesel low vehicles.

They have to increase its imports.

They have to make a rule for buying a vehicle because now a day each person having vehicles and many people having more than one vehicles.

We know very well about that oil is found by natural source and we are the exporter of oil. This is a time where we have to find out an alternative solution of it and Solar energy is the good source of energy but it is too expensive in our country so and our government should work on it.

Prices of oil are getting increased, it is not because we certainly buy them it is due to the scarce of oil or its quantity deficient. So whether we buy it or not it'll increase. The better way is to go for an alternative i.e., we can switch to biofuels or (change the vehicles mechanism) go for hybrid vehicles/electric vehicle.

Hi good morning everyone,

According to me, Nature having lots of other resources, which can be used as optional for Oil and other rare resources.

Solar system (Unlimited source), Electricity which can create unlimited by using wind power (unlimited source), water power (Unlimited source).

If we use the optional resources then only we can save the rare resource like oil and gases of an earth.

When we see the price of oil globally and compare it with INDIA, it's very much surprising. Globally oil price is falling. But in India, it's raising, now government selected daily change in oil price. But I feel its useless, why the government Not putting crude oil and oil products under GST. Still, the charging us excise duty on oil, government Reduced 2rs excise duty on oil and told it will be a loss of 26000cr annually for government Showing that like they did a big favor to us. INDIA is also a developing nation like our neighboring countries if we see the oil price of their country it's reasonable. So, in my opinion, oil must bring under GST to control its pricing.

A go-to measure for the Indian government to counter the rising fuel price is to cut back on the taxes. Currently, the center levies a total excise duty of Rs 15.33 per litre on diesel and Rs 19.48 per litre on petrol. In addition to this, different state governments charge their own VAT.

VAT levied on fuel by state governments in India:

Bihar charges 24.71 per cent VAT on per-litre petrol and 18.34 per cent on per-litre diesel.

Uttar Pradesh takes 26.90 percent VAT on per-litre petrol and 16.84 percent on per-litre diesel.

If Central and State governments decide to cut back on these taxes, even by a slight margin, we could see a significant drop in the rising fuel price.

Good Day Friends.

Oil prices are reaching sky high in India day by day. What is the reason behind this? In the last decade, oil prices have not just gone up but it has gone up by more than twice of how much it was. What can be the reason? Bird's eye view of this is that the oil reserves are getting absorbed and exhausted. This not really is the reason. This hike has happened over a period of time. Just take the Law of demand and supply! Demand and supply are directly proportional i.e. Higher the demand, higher the supply. With respect to price, Higher the demand, higher is the price and lower the demand, lower will be the price and apparently the supply. It all started with the mass usage of automobiles in our country. It would only be apt to say, India's automobile usage is indiscriminate which has made the demand for oil high and eventually the prices have shot up. It all starts with us! We have to take the initiative to enlighten our co-citizens to make use of public transport in place of their own vehicles and to use bicycles for short distances. The youth of our nation can inspire the people in a positive way to impact the oil prices.
