Hi to everyone,

Oil is Inevitable nowadays. And Just now I came to know that India is the largest oil importer in the world. To stop that need to reduce the using of the oil consumption things more likely motor vehicle, buses & moreover on machines, which work on oil it drinks more than the vehicles.

And in our country each and every home had more than 2 vehicle which runs on oil. Now we are getting oil from other countries, at some point oil is going to end in that countries, need to find some other sources to move on other steps.

When Arab countries had a huge amount of oil they will export to some other countries like India, USA, etc for a low price, Now oil is reducing day by day so it going to be coast more. To avoid that we need to find other options like electric sources to run that machines.

Thank you.

Hi.

Its really easy to say in words but following it is really hard. So what I think is it's better if we think as a citizen of a nation and contribute to the nation. So when it comes in the case of oil reduction we must consider all the perspectives that contribute for that.

1. Firstly growing more and more trees.
2. Using vehicles whenever necessary, money is not that thing that can be wasted on such stuff.
3. Providing good paths or road facilities for pedestrians so that they might be fascinated towards it.
4. The above can be done for sure in case of often visited places.
5. Making people realize these inefficient ways with advantages to them.

If people come across all the effects they suffer from vehicles will definitely make them find alternate way so it's all in our hand.

Hello friends,

We are importing 80% of crude requirement. It has adverse impact on the balance sheet of our country. Hence it is import to work into direction to reduce our dependence on import of crude. There is immediate requirement that we should change our style of commuting. People have to encourage the pooling method of commuting. Secondly, the alternative sources of power production to be encouraged, like using solar, wind technology in place of generators. Thirdly, the tax on buying more than one cars in city should be taxed heavily as has been done in Singapore. Fourthly, Government has to think to bring oil prices under GST. Why not put heavy import duty on import of crude but before that the mass rapid transport in cities has to be strengthened and to be made dependable.

As we have to import the crude oil from another countries so price of oil more than other countries but why in India the price is continuously increasing because number of vehicles is increasing even for a small distance people use the four Wheeler, the reason of behind the youth follow fashion in the race of fashion they forgot about future generation, in highways most of youth who use so expensive bike not for they need these but because of fashion people who can easily go by bike use car and where he go bicycle he use his bike to go there by foot is too far, another thing government should have motivated the people to use the vehicle which uses solar energy or use rechargeable battery because it would save money of people and also reduce the air and noise pollution.

Hello fellow members.

In my opinion, consumption of oil will increase with increase in production and growth of the economy and reducing the imports or reducing our consumption of it may not prove to be very helpful. Thus, in order to deal with high oil prices India can make strategic alliances with the cartel to obtain oil at cheaper prices moreover it can barter it with some service or good. Moreover, price rigging and corruption are the main reasons behind the high prices apart from the forces of demand and supply.

India should go for alternate sources of energy and invent technology for using bio-waste instead of oil, it will be the cheapest and help India in waste management as well. Moreover, solar energy or hydro energy should be put to a better use.

India is the biggest importer of oil and our revenue is not sufficient to cover all these things. This is the reason of hiking in oil prices. So to maintain oil prices in India, we need to reduce our consumption of oil.

For this,
1. Start to use alternatives of oil. Many countries like America, Brazil are using ethanol instead of oil for transportation. Oil resources are also limited in nature, therefore it will be helpful to maintain the resources of oil.

2. Instead of own vehicles, we should try to use public transport and bicycle for our daily curriculum.

3. Start to promote electric and solar vehicles for using because these are renewable sources.

So every person should be concerned with the government for dealing the high oil prices.

Guys, first of all, I want to highlight the fact that India is the largest importer of oil or crude oil in the world. We import fuel from the other countries. India needs to import 2 million barrel of crude oil from Russia. Also, oil companies in India take 5 to 10 % more than the actual price. So in order to reduce the supply and consumption, we need to take some strict actions. We use public transport example trains, buses etc. We should use the Electric vehicles to travel in our locality. The government should focus on the non-conventional sources of energy. If we adopt all these reforms or suggestions the comsumption of oil will definitely fall down. As a result, the oil companies will decrease the oil price and oil import.

Thank you.

Oil still be the main resource for transportation and power supply in most of developing countries, but the increase in oil prices affect not only developing countries but also developed countries. Higher oil price will cost higher cost in almost all economic aspect, which relates to inflation in one country. How to deal with it? we need to reduce the usage of oil product and start to develop alternative energy to substitute high price oil. There are several possibilities for alternative energy such bio-fuel, CNG, or electric power vehicle and geothermal or solar panel for industry and power generator. This way, other than to provide alternate energy resource we also be able to decrease our dependent of petroleum product in the far future.

Hello, first of all,

I want to say that oil is essential to everyone. Use of oil is kept on increasing. Oil is a renewable energy. As a citizen of our country, we have to save the oil. Oil is needed for our vehicles. Even public transport needs oil. Oil like petrol, diesel etc is very essential. Generators run because of oils. We can avoid using two wheelers or four wheelers, inverter consumes huge oil. If it continues, the demand of oil will be very high and there will be no oil in future. We need to save it. Oil is too very dangerous when 1 spark of fire touches the oil, it will burst. Many accidents occurred because of this and many too lost their lives. So I request everyone to be very careful while using and use it limitedly.

Good morning everyone. Today's topic for discussion is "How to Deal with High Oil Prices?".

As it is known fact that oil is the most important inevitable source of producing energy be it in motor vehicles or in electricity generation, the role of oil can not be denied. Hence, due to large scale demand of oil supply and limited amount of resource present, and majority of oil reserves present in Iran, Saudi Arabia, thus there prices increases due to import from other countries.

Thus, oil prices can be dealt by bringing in alternative technology in place of fossil fuels.

Also, by spreading awareness among people of using more and more public transport or car pooling will reduce the oil consumption and hence the prices.

Thank you.
