Hi, everyone,

It's not that walking or using bicycles etc will reduce consumption and hence the cost of oil. Cost will rise anyway as the oil is decreasing day by day. This is the temporary and inefficient solutions. This will not make any change on large scale.

We should switch to other resources like biofuels or heavy water. Or we should switch our vehicles to electric one like Tesla is doing in the USA.

Hello!

Try to improve a habit of riding a cycle for short distance which parallel creates an environmental friendly to and at the same time less amount of consumption of oil be maintained. Because we already knew that more amount of oil be used when we ride a bike in local area, one of the reason is traffic and many more.

Best way to deal with high oil prices are carpools, use of alternative source of e-bikes, bicycles, and the cheapest mode is by using govt transport.

Prices depend on the demand and supply criteria and lesser the demand lesser the price.

In the recent scenario even though the price of per barrel has declined but the state is not ready to reduce the taxes as this is the only source they are attacking to set off the losses the state has incurred with the implementation of GST.

Oil prices are high because of low production and high consumption. Sometimes this increase also depends on oil producing countries. So if we are able to consume less oil there is a very good chance of using oil efficiently and at reasonable rates. One can use bicycles for the shorter distance. People should use public transportation instead of their vehicles. This not only ensures how to deal with high oil prices but also with pollution.

Hi everyone,

1) The reason for the rise and fall of oil price is due to the imbalance in the equation of supply and demand. The consumption of oil is more than it is produced.

2) The dominance of few of the countries in the production and control of oil E.G OPEC nations. Thus they decide the price of the oil in the international market.

3) Competition among the oil producing nations.

In order to counter the above-stated problems, the possible remedies are as follows.

1) The use of an alternate source of fuel likes ethanol, biogas. This will reduce the demand for oil which will reduce the production of oil hence reduction in the cost of oil.

2) People should buy more of eco-friendly cars such as CNG, electric, hybrid because majority of the oil consumption is in this sector.

3) Use of public transport will reduce the oil consumption as well as pollution in the environment.

4) Carpooling would be a better option.

5) Govt should try to look for more oil reserves in India rather than importing from other countries.

Hi,

The best option for this is to switch to renewable sources of energy instead of petrol and diesel but at present, due to lack of infrastructure required for the electric car, it can't be implemented at sudden.

So other options which are simpler to apply are the use of public transportation, use of the bicycle for a shorter distance, prefer two-wheelers than four wheelers if possible.

From Government side, they should improve the number and capacity of public transportation, the introduction of pod taxi project in various cities will be effective, proper traffic management system along with construction of flyovers and expansion of the existing road, improve the strength of rupees.

By significant effort by government and public the prices of oil can be stable for present time and might be lower when electric cars will run on Indian road without any difficulties.

Hi friends,

According to my opinion, we have to follows some steps to overcome from the higher prices of oil -.

1) We have to reduce the use of vehicles such as bikes, cars. Which are run by petrol, diesel. Because these are non-renewable resources and can't be reused.

2) we have to use CNG gas in place of oil which is cost effective.

3) Our govt has to take action in the field of research of petrol. If our country will succeed in finding oil then it will make India a self-dependent country and also reduces the cost of petrol.

Thanks.

1) Go for alternative energy sources to reduce the dependency. Shift to renewable sources
2) Strategic alliances with the oil exporting countries to obtain oil at cheaper prices. Moreover, it can barter it with some services or goods.
3) Use public transport, carpool etc. Use as per your need only
4) Set up strategic oil reserves when global prices are down.
5) Bring oil under the ambit of GST.

There are a number of ways by which we Indians can deal with high oil prices. Basically, some people like to show of their wealth and status in society. So they buy more vehicles such as expensive cars and bikes. In this age of hoarding, it is very rare for us to find someone who is genuinely concerned about society and the environment.

We do have a lack of infrastructural facilities. Public transportation systems are not upgraded enough. Roads are even not well constructed for smooth access which ultimately results in the increased usage of petroleum products. This age of technology provides us with many opportunities to harness our country's resources. Improving public transportation system and making it suitable for differently-abled and weaker sections of the society. It will be definitely the first step towards change. Improving our roads so that it will enhance the efficiency of the public transportation system and make way for smooth travel. Smooth roads are also in a way bicycle-friendly.

We should move toward alternative modes of transportation which are more environment-friendly. Electric cars and vehicles are a new thing in the market which could be put to use for reducing our dependence on import of oil. Most importantly awareness must be created among the people for switching to a more environmental friendly transportation system. Reducing the demand for oil imports will ultimately curb down the prices. It will take a long period of time provided we take small individual steps to tackle the situation instead of waiting for a miracle to happen.

Owing to high import prices which creates a huge deficit in our budget we should try to harness the technology and production technique to produce oil in our country. This is only possible through proper research and analysis. We should try to reduce ou dependency on foreign import of oil and should switch tp being independent in its production so as to reduce the high import prices.

Hi to everyone.

In order to deal with high oil prices;.

1. Use electric vehicles such as motorbikes, solar energy two wheelers.

2. The government has to make a law in such a way that every individual family should have only 2 cars, not more than that why I said 2 is in order to convey the person because like everyone has the dream to buy a car and have own house in that purpose I told.

3. The government should encourage scientists and researchers in order to make vehicles largley based on electricity, solar energy consumption.

4. Every individual of society has to use a bicycle or public transport services for shorter distance let say 5km this should be made as an law then almost 20 to 30% of fuel importing will reduce because our India population is more. For one person usage of fuel is reduced for 5km its nearly think 0. 25 liter per person of imagine some number if this is followed by all people in India almost we can reduce 20% fuel import.

5. Reaserchers and scientsist has to made experiments on bicycle like gear cycles came into existance and more ways inorder to make atleast students or kids to use bicycles rather than cars and bikes. The creativity in such a way that it should drag the complete interst of student towards using bicyles almost 50% of youth uses bicycles.
