Hello, everyone!
India has been a victim of corruption from the beginning which has resulted in the growth of the gap between the rich and the poor, the distribution of wealth has been worsening day by day.
The motive of demonetization was obviously good. The government had done some homework like connecting almost everyone to bank accounts and making Aadhar mandatory.
The move was appreciated by almost all sections of the society initially. Even a poor farmer who had to wait hours outside the bank was saying that my pm has done a great job.
But, the dark side of this step started being seen soon. On November 8 itself, Gold shops had operated till late midnight. Many changed their blacks into whites.
Many bank managers were caught in the scandal of currency conversion. So, into the corrupted people hardly suffered.
Talking about the suffering of common man, ATMs were not organised up to the level of requirement. The poor middle class suffered a lot.
The government should have anticipated these before taking the step.
Proper CCTV's should have been installed in banks. Gold stores should have been ordered to be closed at that very moment. Police should have been deployed in banks and every transaction should have been done under CCTV surveillance. (since at many places it was found that CCTV wasn't working).
ATMs should have been organised well. The Government should have circulated more 10, 20, 50, 100 Ra notes in advance for some months. Govt should not have introduced 2000 Rs notes. These steps could have made the plan successful.
So, overall I'll say 'demonetization has not been successful'.
But, it gave some outcomes which have been very good for future India.
1. All the fake notes and agencies producing them were restricted.
2. Digital payment has been encouraged which significantly reduces corruption and has many more benefits.
3. It has given a sense of fear among corrupted people that things can become worse for them in future anytime if they don't stop their wrong practices.
IT was a bold move. It had to have some results. Things could have been anticipated and make better but we cannot deny the fact that it did have some good outcomes too.
I'm thankful to the current government for it is doing something to bring the change and we all should be.
Thank you!

It's a good initiative taken by our PM Shri Narendra Modi to make our country free from the black money and corruption happening in our country. As without proper planning and strategies they implemented this and due to which the common people of the country affected it more. They suffered a lot for getting their money exchanged from the banks due to which many have to lose there lives because they do not have enough money with them to buy the foods. Along with these small-scale industry people also suffered due to this. These change added extra cost and debt to our Indian economy.

According to me, as we know a coin has its two faces one is head and the other is the tail. Demonetisation also has some advantages and disadvantages. If we really want to see our India corruption less we have to give our contribution as the government is taking so many steps such as banning 500-1000 notes and GST to make our India corruption less. The decision of demonetization is an initiative and the purpose behind this decision was bring out the black money and make India cashless which is essential if we want to see our country developed.

So it is demonetisation.
A big and very difficult decision taken by Govt on 8nov 2016. According to me, the success of eradication any problem in India or other countries completely totally depends on the way people think about that problem. It's depends whether they take problem as a nation level or they want to save only themselves. So, until we do not successfully change their way of thinking we are not being able to eliminate issues like corruption because every time when we try there are always some people in the system who help wrong peoples and we failed. But this decision taken by gov reduce corruption at some extent now.
All accounts are linked to Aadhar and pan card and gov have all records of money flow.
Another thing is digital paying system really make easy our life.

If we talk a serious debate on demonetization issue than there is a lot of things which we have to discussed.
Firstly, we talk about its advantages, it is a short-term process of applying a brake on a problem of corruption, terror funding, and many other black market business. If it repeated continuously after a certain period of time such as 10-12 years than it may be effective. In order to gain more from this action than it should be applied before elections. On the other hand, if we talk about its demerits than it will affect innocent people more due to our corrupt system. People died due to poor management. Some rich people having good political connectivity recover more than half of new circulated money. If we are equal than we could not do such discrimination on the circulation of currency. Moreover, farmers suffer more than anyone else. At end, I must say a demonetization is a good approach for the progress of our nation but with this, I must say it should be applied for everyone not only for poor but also for leaders, rich, actors, singers, and many other. It is successful only if we see leaders, rich, actors in a line for changing notes.

Just changing clothes didn't change the entire scenario the same thing happens after some days or years 2000 notes stored instead of 1000 notes.
Corruption not earradicated but it was just stopped for some days and the same thing is happeneing now too.
People see any change in todays country.

In my point of view, banning 500- 1000 rs notes is a good step to uproot the corruption but the government had not taken strict action. Bank officer also dishonest. They help the rich persons to exchange their black money into white money. Poor and middle-class persons suffer a lot in exchange for their hard work money by standing the whole day in a long queue.
I think only one advantage was there,
1. A small reduction in corruption.
2. And the introduction of the digital payment system.
Govt had not taken this step at a proper time.
If Modi Ji wants to do this, the first govt must have to print a plenty of new notes by that people had not to face these problems.
So, banning 500- 1000 notes was just changing clothes.

Hello guys,
According to me, As every coin has two sides like wise peoples also have different perspectives. If you are looking towards Indian economy if we compared our GDP with 2015 then you will come to know that there is growth of 0.6 % previously it was 7.0% now it is 7.6%.
Through demonetisation not all black get demolished but few part of it get demolished and this contribute alot in the growth of economy. In the drought of money government suggest us to use cashless transactions during demonetisation, this again improves the growth of the economy and reduce corruption. So, It is not just changing clothes it gives us a direction and some positive vibes about changing our nation towards developed nation.

Hi friends in my opinion, demonetization was a decision that was taken without considering its future effects. As India is the fastest growing economy in the world and the GDP of about 6-7% the government might have thought of taking this decision. But in a country like India where we are used to cash transaction baning 500 1000 notes was a stupid decision. Balck money holders do not have their entire wealth in cash. It only accounts for 20% of their wealth. They invest in gold, land and they have enough way to hide their money. Hence this note ban has only caused trouble for the common man who stood in the rows in front of ATM. Corruption cannot be uprooted by baning notes and I would further go and say that it cannot be uprooted entirely it can only be reduced.

I think banning 500, 1000 notes its just a changing clothes. Because government does not make a proper plan for that, in cities people know the online transaction, but in villages poor people dependent on notes, and they not even know about online transaction, that's why because of banning notes they poor people facing problems like marriage, medical, they not have money that time and rich people have enough money to keep their life good way, and mostly corrupt people invest there 80%money in gold or land and only 20%they access and storing the money.
Because of that demonitization is affected are mostly poor and common people, and corrupt people enjoyed because they have lots of ideas to turning money to black to white. So I think that banning the 500 and 1000 notes it just a changing clothes.
