It is really a very good idea of banning 500 and 1000 notes.

It is a good step taken by the government to ban notes. Before banning the corruption was at the high rate but now when see it seems to be difficult to do. It did the effect in much middle class and lower class families but it majorly affected the high class and most of the corrupted people. All What I think is, that corruption did uproot.

It's 50-50 that happened, some got busted and many got chance to change clothes! In that time of rush, but the middle man still face same things that he used to face with the same 500&1000.

According to the topic, corruption is a thing which can't be uprooted in single move one has to kill it step by step. 500 and 1000 currency notes are banned as a legal tender and at time of demonetisation it created good impact but later on gradually it is vanishing, so it's like back to square one condition and it was all for nothing.

According to me, demonetization is good but we have to look after both the faces of a coin. Demonetization is good but everything has its own prons and cons we couldn't neglect it. Demonetization is a good step to take out black money but here is the problem start thousand of people standing in the queue for so many hours outside the bank and there is too much shortage of rs500 and 2000 notes and even ATMs were also empty when ATM got filled there were no of people gathered outside the bank in a long queue so demonetization is good but implementation is not available.

Yeah, demonitisation is really an important thing to discuss in India nowadays. It can be said good or bad for the economy based on the situation whwn it is done. 500, 1000 rupee notes carry 80% weightage of Indian currency, so without a long term planning if it is done then none but the stupids will support this. And if the issue is black money then I will say India is a country of 121 crore people, so there will be many ways to do the corruption, in India 70% rupees are in the account of 1% people, and after demonitisation, no such names are published so it is proved they found an alternate process to black the money, and governments also couldn't solve the issue till now, so from the government point of view, this is such a stupid thing for that time.

In a bid to weed out corruption from our country and it has positive consequences for some extent because we often get news of sporadic "cash stashing" and results into cash crunch in market as recently we saw "cash crunch" in ATM.

Hence ban 500, 1000 notes couldn't able to eradicate corruption but yes it would be used as tool to curb out corruption - availability of cash area could be able to find out as government has data of it and raids could be carried out as happend in karnataka where government contractor stashed cash in crores.

Hi friends, it's really a good topic to discuss on, banning of 500, 1000 notes s not just changing clothes, though the government has implemented aiming at removal of black money, it really influenced on the common man. Every black money holder had taken his/her own steps. They made their life, money safe but what about an individual. Government has received only 30 percent of the money what about the rest.

Even the people who are the holders of black money can even link up with the bank employees by offering them bribe. So, the rest of the money what government is expecting is not back. Further improvement is essential in Demonetisation.

Yeah! The statement can be true. But there is not only negative effects like conversion of black money to white of big business man or some corrupt leaders. While most of the money has come in the eye of bank after demonetization and this reason is more powerful.

And if we say about the impact on poor people or middle class people was also there but all this was done for good for people. Because of demonetization many people forced to use online mode of payment which is also more valid reason than suffering in queue of ATM. And also rich people use their debit cards for online transaction that's why they didn't come in notice of people who are in queue.

This is a step in eradicating courption but in different manner than people usually think.
