We can not use uprooted for corruption because it is like the branch of tree if one will cut it this will slowly increase again.

Mean to say it is a good initiative by government But the real thing is this people and officials should perform their real duty towards the betterment of their nation. Without this every step taken by the govt is worthless.

Ban uprooted corruption for a sure but only to some extent. The government made a full proof plan to do away the menace of black money by keeping the move an utter secret till the last hour. But they were unaware of the fact that the roots of corruption have subsided deep in the people's mind in the past 50 60 years, hence they did whatever they can to convert their black into white. In a way, it is like black taking a new shape. Government should take some more security measures in this regard. It has promised to keep and miles to go before it sleep.

For the first time in years, a big reform has been taken to uproot corruption. The amount of black money recovered may not be the same as was expected but the initiative on such a big magnitude to tackle corruption is appreciable. However, the long-term benefits are going to be more significant as more and more people shift to cashless modes of transactions. It has also accelerated the process of financial inclusion on a large scale. However, a single reform cannot uproot corruption completely as unaccounted money may be held in different form such a property, jewelry etc. Hence a number of reforms need to be taken to eradicate corruption completely. Moreover, the small ticket corruption that we face in our daily lives in government offices is also an issue. More of such big bang reforms are needed in the future to make India a zero corruption country.

In my point of view, the demonetisation of 500, 1000 note work at some level. The main aim of Modi Ji of demonetisation is to eradicate the black money from the corrupt people. I think it doesn't work. Some people also surrender themselves but the money cannot be completely eradicated. People also makes the solution of that problem.

Before discussing or taking stand on this issue what we need to understand is that the issue is not with the policies or implementation of the policy, the issue is with our mentality. We always have the tendency to blame others for our grievances. We blame Britain for our economic instability, we blame our neighbours for our regional tensions, we blame politicians for corruption, but we never blame ourselves. Australia was also under British rule but it ranks second in HDI. South Korea has tension with neighbours but is one of the most developed countries. The corruption was deeply rooted in china, look at how they have uprooted it. So everything is achievable once we put our mind to it. Yes, I agree the demonetization policy has its flaws, and corruption is not gonna stop overnight. But at least we have now started talking about this serious issue. And from now on it's our duty as citizens of India to make sure that we do not indulge in any kind of corruption nor let anyone else. Change is not gonna come from a government policy, What we need to understand is that change comes from within.

I think it was a nice step taken by Indian government in order to stop corruption because people who have lots of blacks are now becoming useless, nothing less than a garbage box. So I think it will definitely help in removing corruption from our country.

I think it's a good move. By the Modi's government But at some. Point it would not be good for middle class people because higher class people will always have the source and they know how to secure their money they would have definitely saved it and also maybe they would be able to pay tax but in case of middle-class people they don't have much money but with that they have to run their small scale business and they have to pay tax and all.

Hello, everyone.

Before we discuss this topic, we first need to understand that how this demonetisation thing actually worked for eradicating corruption. We need to understand its influence over various stakeholders.

Suppose for example RBI has circulated 150 currency notes of Rs. 500. And out of these 150 notes, 50 were illegally kept as a black money by a corrupt person say X.

So basically with the note ban, the remaining 100 currency notes are with common person who is not corrupt. He will fearlessly exchange those notes in a bank and will deposit them I'm their account.

But that corrupt person X will not do so.

So at the end of the day, the total 100 notes were deposited. But RBI has a record that it has circulated 150 of these notes. So eventually RBI will print those 50 notes. And in this way that black money will be automatically deposited in the govt treasure.

So we can say that its a good initiative by government Of India to prevent corruption. But at last, we should act as a responsible citizen to avoid corruption at all stages.
