According to me, Demonetisation is the most welcomed initiative by our government because it did had an adverse effect on the corrupted politicians who were put into a bundle of misery. It does bring change in financial state of the country especially considering the GDP.

It was the best weapon for the eradication of Black Money. Moreover, Demonetisation was the Nightmare to all the cunning and the corrupted politicians.

Though the decision had caused the common people to struggle to some extent, Demonetisation really helped in uprooting the corruption and we should welcome such changes which really help the society in a great manner.

Hi,

Due to the demonetization, the common man of our country has faced a lot of problems also our farmers have faced a lot of problems. Actually, our government and RBI did not implement the demonetization drive properly. Many people face a lot of problem due to the unavailability of cash. In our daily life we need a lot of things like milk, vegetables, medicines, etc and for getting these things we need money and money is not present in our pockets every time. So whenever we want money we go to ATM and take the money and follow our daily life. But due to unavailability of cash in ATM, many people in the country have faced the problem.

In my point of view, all are correct but we are think in different sides of situation. The major of money come out from the corrupted people. But come out money directly not went there their own accounts in-between generated some mediator people they asked the corrupted people I change the black money to white money but what was use for me first you give me a some commision after I change the money black to White. This is one example of changed money black to white. There vary of techniques used the peoples changed of the money. I requesting one thing of govt of India this process have to take again again for atleast 2 years once time.

Hello everyone.

In my view, banning of 500 and 1000 rupee notes is just like changing clothes for wealthy people because they changed their money without going to any bank and they do not stand in queue hours and hours in banks, they changed their money without knowing any pain but whereas for poor people they don't have enough money to change in banks per day only 4000-5000/- per member so due to this they faced lot of problems but rich people changed crores of money without any limit. I think govt had made this for abolishing corruption but it is not actually done even now corruption is almost all same before ban of 500, 1000 notes.

According to me, note ban is a quite good decision taken by the government, as it is also written in our constitution that after a given period of time currency has to be changed to avoid corruption and also black money.

But it did not help that much to the country as it was told. Because corruption will be there, now with a new currency and also after a while fake notes again will be there in the market. So if we talk about in long run there are not many advantages of demonetisation, but for some time as the fake currency is not there, it will help in reducing terrorist activities as they are organised by that money (fake currency).

I would not like to say that it uprooted the corruption as no one was caught and they were simply given a chance to convert their black money into white by allowing them to keep their money with 40% tax so the person having 2 lakh extra money will have now 1,20,000 but yes it profited the government the most through tax and large amount of money was collected. Also, the implementation could have been better or well planned so that the huge lines in front of atm were avoided.

As per corruption, I don't think that much was done because does anyone think that anything changed apart from digitisation? only the colour of money changed.

Hello, everybody.

The topic of discussion here is the one that recently has affected our country in every possible aspect. In my point of view, banning 500, 1000 notes was a bold and thoughtful decision by honourable PM, as it has to face a lot of opposition. But on other hand, it was a really good step to stop hoarding money by so called paisawale of County as black money is stored mainly in a big denomination. On the other hand, we can't say that with this step, corruption is uprooted. Because it's a series of well-planned actions for a common goal. So we can say that it's a step we have moved toward corruption free country.

Black money is the result of the mentality of people. Any action towards removing it completely, would not help! And so was demonetization. Of course, black money reduced, in the economy, as compared to it was earlier. It did not root out all the black money from the economy as much of it was in terms of investments and not in cash. But fulfilled one of the objectives of demonetization, i.e to control terror funding. Terror funding has taken a pause since demonetization was announced. Best we can do is to bring our mentality on track and focus towards growth and development of our country rather than just practicing tax evasion!

Demonetisation of 500 and 1000 rupee notes was a good step taken by our government but first what is black money- it is the money we dealt in cash but not paying its tax. It is the rooted problem in India, so many people not paying their proper taxes. On the other hand, the closing of black money directly affects poor and middle-class peoples and they suffer a lot.

Due to demonetization lots of money is gathered in the bank and proper taxes are paid to the government which is also helpful in country's development. It is estimated that at least 95% of the demonetised Rs 15. 44 lakh cr has already come back to the banking system.

Hello, everyone.

In my point of view, banning of 500, 1000 rupees is just changing clothes because it does not bring any major change in the society. Currency notes has been banned in order to uproot corruption in our country but actual scenario is rich gets even more richer and poor gets even more poor. This had made a drastic impact and affects mainly normal people of the country. Though banning is to uproot the black money holders but here normal people strives to lead their daily life.

It is to be noted that corruption is not done only through money. But also by assets so here demonetisation doesn't work well.

Thank you.
