According to me, the decision of demonetisation was the boldest decision by our PM in a country like ours, which works on almost 95% cash transactions. The idea behind it can't be questioned at all, as the pros were clear. Though some bank officials created cons which went against the move, but this planted a fear in minds of the fraudulent people that their deeds aren't safe enough. The move also made the use of plastic money and online transactions more than before 8th of November. Corruption will not stop with it, but black money will definitely be covered.

Therefore, I'll fully support the idea of demonetisation.

Banning of notes is great step towards uprooting corruption, but I thought this step is able to uproot corruption in very small extent. Main effect of demonetization which I'm seeing is the removal of fake notes from the our country as well as foreign countries also. Circulation of fake notes always weakens the economy.

As particular point of view regarding corruption I think my answer more favor in just changing clothes,

But if we talk about all the matter which is belong to demonetization i.e. fake currency, black money, economy strength etc. Then we can say that it is a Master stroke of our government.

Thank you!

Hello,

Demonization is a big step taken by our government and I support that because if we are asking any person about ban 500, 1000 notes is a corruption uprooted step or just changing clothes then 95% people answered that yes we feel some problem because we have to stay whole day in bank and not going to office or their place of work but even they says it is a great step taken by Narendra Modi.

And of course as we all know if we want to change our country from developing to developed country we have to face some problem but taken big steps as like demonization.

Thank you.

GOI took the decision to Ban 500 & 1000. But how it is related to corruption?? Black money is not only in terms of 500 & 1000. It is in the form of many ways like gold, land, foreign currency.. etc. Of course by banning 500 & 1000 we can reduce the black money corruption, We have to realise the how much it helpful to fight on corruption. At the same time, RBI announced 2000 notes currency. It is very difficult to understand to common people that, one side banning 500 & 1000 to reduce black money corruption, Other side releasing 2000 notes. However, common people faced many problems by standing in front of banks/ATMs for cash. Still, common people are ready to face problem to develop INDIA. And some of the people used digital transactions instead of cash transaction during the demonstration period. Bank need to think that, India is developing as DIGITAL India, by keeping this point in their view, Requesting to please reduce to transaction charges. I support GOI if we are going toward growing country.

Thank you all.

Demonetisation is a very good intiative taken by our honourable PM against corruption. As India is one of the corrupted country and the corruption is affecting the development of the economy after the demonetisation the countrys economic growth rate was increased and to further reduce corruption certain measures to be taken by the government.

It was a bold move by the Indian government to ban the 500 and 1000 notes and launch the new notes. The motive was to uproot the corruption but somewhere it was a failure. This happened due to the various windows provided by the government, changing decisions every now and then. I appreciate that the government though of the common man and provided the windows but that was advantageous for the corrupt people as well. No big leader or businessman has been caught even after such a big move. It's not like that they didn't have black money. They were successful in not being caught.

Now, also there is no limit to corruption, the fake currency has again taken place in the market. So if the step is taken then it should be tough, thinking of the future benefits.

I believe it was a very good attempt by our prime minister to come up with the idea of demonetization, with a view of uprooting corruption; I would rather say that it was a very bold and powerful step that could have been taken by anyone in past 20 years of Indian politics, but then when I see whether this move has actually contributed towards uprooting corruption I would say "no" ; the example to support the same is a small article that I came across just a few months later demonetization was declared and the nation was suffering through a serious financial chaos.

The ultimate motive behind demonetization was to completely wash off the trend of counterfeiting currency by introducing 17 security features or may be 18 I guess out of which 14 were counterfeited in the month of January itself as reported by an article in Times of India where a bag full of 2000 Rs new currency notes was confiscated on grounds of same declared as counterfeit within 3 months of demonetization not because counterfeiting practices are touching skies, but the reason being that our country spends less than 100 Rs to mint a 2000 Rs note, our practice to reduce cost of minting which will surely attract more of counterfeiting which is nothing but again provoking corruption as compared to countries like china and US who spend around 3 dollars to mint a one dollar, this discourages the counterfeiting because it will cost them more.

So the main perspective to wash out corruption failed at its very initial step also we have been hearing of instances where people with enormous amount of cash in their houses have somehow managed to escape the situation either through targeting poor people who agreed to deposit it in their name against some cash rewards also we have been hearing in media about incidents of bank manager accepting bribes against exchanging cash amounts.

So although the movement was very bold, but I believe it failed miserably because the uprooting of old corruption had sown the seeds of new ones to take another shape and to show the entire civilization another form of disgrace.

I highly condemned the decision of demonetisation taken by our prime minister.

Very less time was given to exchange our money. It is not the way to take black money from people. Still, there are many scams in our country they must focus on this issue. It is harder to see old women, working men who left their jobs and waited for many hours. ATMs get vacant and people have to queue up for another day.

Hello friends,

My name is Gourav Sharma from Bhadra, Rajasthan.

According to my opinion, banning 500 and 1000 notes is just the way of changing clothes and nothing else. Actually, corruption is everywhere. And there is no affect on corruption by demonetisation. Demonetisation has not just affected our public but also effected our economy system too. From that day, until this day, India's GDP cannot be survived.

Hello Friends,

I am Sandeep Amatigoudra. I would like to share my opinion about demonetization. Demonetization is a combination of two words i.e. "de" and Monetization. Monetization is nothing but a flow of currency. Thus reducing the flow of currency called demonetization.
