I humbly respect all of your views and opinions as they are your personal. But as far as I am personally concerned I think that banning 500 & 1000 notes is just changing clothes. Because the purpose behind this was to curb and also discard the black money and corruption from the society which I feel the government failed to do. This is because news of demonetization got viral on social media as well as news papers much before the actual activity took place which help the big shots to convert their illicit money into legal by investing them into property and gold equivalents. Not only this but also people in certain cities and states started depositing their old currency in bank much before the government made an official announcement of demonetization. All this led to failing of the activity to achieve its purpose and also the failing of government in purging the black money and corruption from the economy.

I think, in our country corruption is in blood. It has such an awful impact everywhere that no action can ever rip it out. Demonetisation in it's beginning seemed to have a powerful impact but more than that it created the problematic situation. People were found exhausting themselves in queue whole day. But it doesn't have mattered if they would have got for what they were compelled to exchange their money. Ie. Bringing back of black money.

People said, the difference between rich and poor will be shortened through this process but no one can ever have a thought that Narendra Modi alone can't make the country perfect if evil people and other malevolent leaders inside the country have doggedly decided to retain its corruption.

Every law and order can only show it's effective consequences if and only if we all together are ready for that otherwise a single decayed mango is enough to make other mangoes go bad.

Demonetization was the action taken by the government against black money and their holders. This somehow affected the common because they also keep money in their homes but they have all the statement of that money. So in order to support the idea of demonetization common man suffered a lot of due exchange of their white money.

Not all the money got recovered by this idea because the idea was not to get all the black money but to stop it.

Furthermore step like this should be done in order to uproot it or else it will be a fresh start for the people to start corruption of black money.

So basically it is not uprooted.

Now people have black money in the form of 2000 rs notes that means it has changed clothes.

Let's find out the next step by discussing it here at INDIABIX. I request IndiaBix to make the next topic as.

"What could be the next step after demonetization to uproot the black money corruption".

According to my point of view, the decision of banning on 500, 1000 notes are just changing clothes. IT is correct that demonetization is an important step which is taken by government but it is not implemented correctly. Demonetization is just affect the poor or middle class people, small business etc but if we noticed then we saw that none of rich person was standing in front of bank for changing the notes, it's just because they already find a way through which they convert their black money into white money. Corruption could not be stop completely by Demonetization, it can be stop by secretly investigation on each officer, minister or other person which get high power as the perspective of their duty or there job etc. When each and every rule will be apply on everybody equally as these are applied on common people then corruption will not only reduce but it can be completely disappear from our country.

Hi everyone,

Ban 500 and 1000 notes have very useful to middle and low-class people. For higher class people who have all borrowed the money from the private companies. For example: if the government has started a project at Rs. 1 crore, politicians may borrow 20 to 30 lakh and the remaining amount they will invest in the project. This is black money and they won't provide a tax to the government by demonetization avoid all these illegal activities.

For middle and low-class people, they were standing in front of the bank for exchanging the money. Of course, they feel bad about that but in future obliviously, demonetization will help to all. Middle and low-class people didn't believe that our PM will ban 500 and 1000 notes.

Finally, people should think why demonetization is made and what are its essentials. They should avoid the corruption as much as possible then only our country will become developed.

Demonetization is a great step taken by the modi's government. But it found to be of less worth. Eariler I thought its good Nd will remove the corruption. But later on I realised it wasnt fruitful. It was just a changing of clothes. And to common people it caused many problems. They daily schedule got distracted as they have to stand in long long queus for withdrawal of their money. And many a times they stand in queus still they dint get money. Due to shortage of Money in ATM machines. And secondly rich people and people those who are in power they dint faced this much of problm as they got the money exchanged in return paying bribe. They got converted their black money to white in return of bribe. So corrution remained the same. And the ban of 500-1000 was done unplanned they was shortage of resources and sevices. If it was done in well planned manner than smhow it could be of little worth. Thank you.

I would like to add that no doubt demonetization was a great step by our government, but I just want to know that BJP government has taken this step and has backed with some other things, And bring back the black money was their primary motive which wasn't fulfilled in fact the outcome was good but it was not what the BJP government primarily wanted.

And the point i.e. corruption has reduced tremendously but was not the after effect of Demonitazaton, but it has helped it a bit. And I would also like to appreciate the fact that Modi government took such a step which changed everyone's point of view but not to forget the fact that when demonetization took place still some people managed to get the currency changed. HOW?

So people's point should be changed and not the currency. Even after changing the currency we know that there is corruption then whats the use of the problems that we have been through.

Rome was not built in one day. As per my views, demonetiZation is a very favoured step. As it's is a corruption uprooted process not fully but it can be shakable to all illegal black money holders. This step may take time and people may suffer for a time being but in the result this will help our economic growth. As changing of 500rs note and 1000rs note unexpectedly was the great step. Although it had affected the common and poor people in return more illegal money came out from the pocket illegal holders. Demonetization of notes was corruption uprooted. One cannot say it was like changing clothes. Because if you want some good change in your life you have to face some difficulty in this part common people were suffered more and badly affected the Swiss account holders. As per my opinion, demonization was like nasty kick for the bad black money holders. As they were forced to come out of their holes.

Hi friends, our topic of discussion is demonetisation uproot corruption or not. I am strongly says that demonetisation in India doesn't do anything to corruption. Because according to the RBI report about 97 % of banned currency returns to them. It indicates that the black money holder whiten thier money very easily with the help of our government. During the process of cash exchanges so many bank and the respective officers help the corrupted persons with bribe.

Demonetisation causes so many negative effects to the Indian economy. After the declaration of bann of currency the flow of money in the market ceases. It causes the GDP of India to fall. So many daily wage workers lost their job. Simply saying the India totaly collapsed after demonstration.

Demonetisation was one good thing but it do not implement well in India. So the corruption remains unaffected after banning of currency.

Thank you.

When 500 and 1000 notes were banned I thought it is very daring and great decision. But after few days when I saw many people struggling with getting the money then I realised that decision was correct but execution was not correct.

Main aim of this decision was to bring out the black money, even though we may have got some of the black money back but if we deduct the loose that the country has experience in terms of business of common people it will definitely give a negative figure.

I also want to say that Corruption may have abated but small scale business has experienced a greater loose.

It may be very early to judge this decision, but I think we need to wait for atleast 1 year to see positive point of this decision. Till now negative points are more than positive point.

Also, government needs to be ready for future outcomes of this decision to totally banish the corruption.

Thank you.
