Wilson Lionel Garton Jones was a professional player of English billiards from India and the first to win the world amateur billiards title. He won this title in 1958, he won it in Sydney, Australia.

In 1958, he won the World Amateur Billiards Championship held at Great Eastern Hotel in Calcutta.
