It's very simple thing.

I agree @Nikki.

Stars don't move in space. They are stationary.

While the earth rotates from west to east, it appears like stars moving from east to west (Nikki's example).

It is the same concept, the sun rising at the east and falling at west.

Sun goes from east to west. That means earth rotates from west to east.

It's very simple to understand if we are in the train we see trees and mountains can see like they are moving.

Which Means trains is moving but trees are stable.

So, this what I am saying is earth is moving but the star is stable li trees.

Are Starsmoving from east to west?

Or.

Are Stars revolving in earth east to west?

Is any difference? Explain this.

If you take a general situation where train moves in one direction but its surroundings seem to be moving in the opposite direction even though they are not.

The same perception can be seen in the direction of stars w.r.t to earth.
