Two collinear vectors can make zero resultant but they should be of same magnitude and opposite direction in same straight line. When vectors are unequal minimum number required to make zero resultant is three.

The answer is 3.
But, if we have one positive vector and other is negative vector so, there sum will be zero.
Hence, both will be correct.

CORRECT OPTION is option (A) not (B)
We know
A and -A are unequal vectors, they give zero resultant when added.
hence minimum number of vectors is 2

Aren't two vectors unequal if their direction is different but same magnitude?

Two vectors never give zero.
But in the case of three, it is possible.
Consider two unequal vectors are placed on two sides of a triangle then it gives the resultant third side so it can never be zero, but if we place another vector as the third side of the triangle then the resultant will be zero.

Three is the right answer because there is a unequal vector, two unequal vectors can not solve this.

Read the question carefully, they said unequal vectors. So all three are unequal in magnitude. Three is the answer means option B.

It is simply understandable that two vectors of equal magnitude and opposite direction give O. Hence the answer is two.
