She was awarded half of the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1903, for their study into the spontaneous radiation discovered by Becquerel, who was awarded the other half of the Prize. In 1911 she received a second Nobel Prize, this time in Chemistry, in recognition of her work in radioactivity.

Mari cure was given loads of plutonium by the Poland government and her research on this element lead to the discovery and radium where one night in one of her store room an abandoned box and plutonium was glowing and that led to the invention of radium.

Madem curie got two noble prizes, madem curie family got 5 noble prizes. Madem curie-2, her husbend piere curie-1 in 1903 alog with his wife and another man. In 1906 piere curie died in road accident, madem curie daughter irene curie and her husbend got noble prize for artificial radioactivity.

First it was Henry Bequerel of France who discovered the phenomenon of radio activity. Then Madam Curie along with Pierre curie found uranium and polonium.
