To understand the question we need to understand about roman empire, I know little bit about it.

AUGUSTUS -1st emperor of the Roman empire.

Month of August is named after Augustus, August have 31 days because AUGUSTUS wanted his month to match the length of Julius Caesar's July.

JULIUS CEASAR-Dictator of Roman Empire.

Augustus was the father of Tiberius.

TIBERIUS- 2nd emperor of roman empire son.

Of Augustus's wife LIVIA by a previous marriage;

Adopted son of Augustus.

The GOSPELS (A gospel is an account that describes the life of Jesus of Nazareth) mention that during TIBERIUS reign, THE JESUS OF NAZARETH (JESUS CHRIST) Preached and was executed by Pontius Pilate (preety brutal Roman governor).

NERO-5th Roman Emperor.

Brutus- Senator of the Roman Empire.

Senator "A member of a Senate.

Senate- Assembly possessing high legislative Powers.

Q) We hear of two envoys being sent to the Roman kings, one in 27-28 AD to the court of Augustus and the other in 110-20 AD to the court of.

Now let us know about Envoy sent to the court of Augustus-.

ROMAN vs DACIA.

DACIA "In ancient geography, especially in Roman sources, Dacia was the land inhabited by the Dacians or Getae as they were known by the Greeks"a branch of the Thracians (were a group of Indo-European tribes) north of the Haemus range (mountains).

BUREBISTA-Greatest Dacia king ruled b/w 82 BC.

&44 B. C, Dacia represented a threat for the Roman Empire.

Augustus came into conflict with Dacia.

Dacia sent envoys offering their support against Mark Antony in exchange for requests, Augustus rejected the offer & Dacia gave their support to Antony.

MARK ANTONY-Roman politician & general.

Important supporter & loyal friend of his mother's cousin Julius Caesar.

In 33 B. C, there were disagreements b/w Antony & OCTAVIAN (known as AUGUSTUS after 27 B.C) errupted into civil war, ANTONY defeated by OCTAVIAN. His career and defeat are significant in Rome's transformation from republic to empire.

TRAJAN-13th Roman emperor.

First Battle of Tapae, between Domitian (12th emperor of Roman empire) and Dacia in 87.

Second Battle of Tapae, between Trajan and Decebal (brave king of Dacia) in 101.

Trajan was most conspicuous for his justice, bravery & simplicity & there were good causes for DECEBALUS to worry.

Therefore he sent envoys before defeat.
