The complete Tripitaka set of the Theravada school is written and preserved in Pali in the Pali Canon. Buddhists of the Theravada school use the Pali variant Tipitaka to refer what is commonly known in English as the Pali Canon.

Tripitaka is the three main categories of texts that make up the Buddhist canon.
Sutras

These are mainly teachings and sermons of Buddha originally transcribed in Sanskrit or Pali. It may contain description of Buddha and parables which may lead to enlightenment to the reader.
Abhidharma

I think tripitak was a collection of teachings of buddha.

Trepitak was teaching of lord budha.

Tripitak was collection of teaching of lord budha and a holy book of budhist people.

Sutha pitika, vinaya pitika, abdhama pitika are known as tripitikas of budhism.
