Treaty of Mangalore — 1784.
The Treaty of Mangalore ended the Second Anglo-Mysore War (1780–1784).
Who signed it is?
English East India Company and Tipu Sultan, ruler of Mysore.
Why was it signed?
The Second Anglo-Mysore War was fought between Mysore under Haidar Ali/Tipu Sultan and the British East India Company.
Haidar Ali died in 1782 during the war.
His son Tipu Sultan continued the war.
The war ended with the Treaty of Mangalore in 1784.
Both sides agreed to restore the conquered territories and return to the pre-war position.
