24.01 percentage of Indian landmass is cover with forest in 2013. Where it was just 21.05 percent in 2011.

According to satellite studies the resolution is very small, therefore small areas of forest cover are left out. But if we consider the forest report we find that the total area under forest has increased by around 380.
