Voltage is measured with respect to ground, so the one end will be at the measuring point and another will at ground so overall we can say it across the circuit. So it is parallel.

Voltmeter measures potential differenge between two terminal of the circuit. So it should be connect across two terminal. Hence it should be parallel with circuit.

Voltage can be measured. When the component is connected in parallel to the circuit. Sooo the device used to measure the voltage of that component is VOLTMETER.

Voltmeter is high resistance that's why connected the parallel to the circuit.

Ammeter is low resistance connected the series to the circuit.

According to parallel combination if potential difference across each of them is the same and is equal to the applied potential difference.

In parallel ckt voltage is always same in b/w d 2 terminals due 2 this reason voltmeter is used 4 d voltage mest. in parallel with the ckt.

Voltage will be measured with respect to positive and negative terminal that is why voltmeter will be placed parllely in the circuit.

A Voltmeter is used to measure voltage. While measuring voltage in a circuit voltmeter should connected parallel with the circuit.

The galvanometer can be converted into voltmeter by connecting the ckt in parallel. For ammeter this should be in series. :)))))

Voltage is nothing but potential difference between two points. There fore it is measured across the end points of a component.
