In NPN Transistor,
Base - Positive, Emitter- Negative, Collector- Negative
To operate Transistor properly i.e., in active mode
BE junction - forward biased
CB junction - reverse biased

Collector base junction is reversed biased so that electrons speed may be enhanced and they may freely move towards to he collector terminal.
